I wanna rgv or nsr or kr1s or tzr rolling chassis.....maybe a rs 125 chassis

I'm going to build a stunt bike using a large four stroke single and a lite weight chassis....with the possibility of even doing a few F3 races with the contraption...any help appreciated

The RS chassis won't be a very good option, very short and not much room on them or much room to put one of the motors you've mentioned, you'd be better off with one of the other's you've listed

I don't fink I can race a 500 two stroke water cooled motor in F3....
I'll be happen with a high reving single from a modern four stroke MXer...50-55 hp would be fine... the engines weigh fuck all and the total weight of the bike will be fuck all aswell...

I'll prolly catch you round the (speed?) traps when I get back home and we'll have a chin wag. Best NOT to do it over a few beers, else I'll end up staggering out to the shed at three in the morning with cable ties in hand, eying up the 5.0hp honda (yep, typical CBR donk...) in the lawn mower and the missus pushy!

What class would A XR650 motor in an RS250 frame race in ..there is one here on the auction sitting for Sweet FA ,,,most of the hard work has been done ie engine in frame and running gear , just body work now

its worth a punt if it can be used.

Plus it wouldnt handle youd snap the chassis under power

Oh right, well if he said so, it must be true...:wait:
I thought he was talking about a Honda RS125 frame, not a Aprilia RS125.
Personally I think you'd be better off buying a 450 MX bike, swapping the wheels and front brake and racing it as a Super Motard, can also run in F3, be good stunt bike and could ride it on the road if so desired. Much more practical and probably just as fast. :blip:

No motards are allowed in F3 for the actrix series, and the pacific series have the same rule.
I assure you, a mx motor in a road race frame will always be faster than a motard, I've raced a kx500 in a rgv frame and also my kx500 motard bike, and there was a real big difference....
