Actually, that's the problem. You probably WOULD be seen dead in one. What car is going to notice THAT on the road if they don't even see bikes?

It doesn't even have a grunty exhaust so that you can at least hear it coming.

I like it. It's a safe way of pointing people in the direction of bikes. As they say in that article once you're used to it driving a car feels bizarre, so many people will look to something that doesn't feel so wierd, ie a bike. Also when people get used to how manoeuvrable a small vehicle is a car seems like an overwieght, unmanoeuvrable, underpowered, unexciting piece of shit (funnily enough, they are exactly that!!). A bike becomes an extension of their everyday transport, and their everyday transport reminds them of the fun they can have on a bike.
