Well, tomorrow I become the proud owner of a bike. I have bought a 250 Maraunder from a fellow Ulysses member and now to get it back here to my place and practice.
I am very apprehensive about getting on a bike again, as its about 9 years since I last rode and since that time I have health and physical issues that I have been dealing with. Now I am fearful of not being able to get on it and get the knack back. So if you see me puttering around the back roads of Feilding and Palmy sing out and if you see something that you feel I need to have guidance on please let me know.
As I am very slight of weight, and suffer from epilepsy these are my main worries and I would appreciate any pointers from any of those riders with similar problems in dealing with the confidence factors.
Ride safe everyone - and for the moment keep a wide berth of me if you pass - just incase I take a dive to the left or right. :scooter:
 :innocent: :motu:

Good choice for you girl! Don't worry the confidence will come back - the more you ride the better off you'll be.

Well done, I looked at one of those before I bought the EL, great little bike. I hadn't ridden for about 16 years (and had only done about 500ks anyway) so I understand your apprehension. Ride with someone you trust, relax and enjoy it, it'll all come back to you.

I do not have any similar problems you have, but congrats i would love a marauder!! tell me how it goes ! you know you have made the right move by making it happen; you are very aware of your issues, you know the risk and you have the bike and you have made this happen, you know you have the confidence to ride!

No I didn't get $3000 for my plate, I got that amount for my car instead. So I am just on two wheels and never been happier!
The plate is still for sale, but for $1000 ono. and that's cause I took the advice from my mate and he felt I had asked too much.
