Here's a GS125 (virtually the same thing) but it's a piece of shit and would cost over a grand before you got it on the road.....

Some debt is not bad but debt that carries a high interest rate is to be avoided at all costs. Find some after/before school or weekend work (or all), keep off the drugs and alcohol, make ya lunch instead of buying it. And save save save..... You can make it happen, you have options. Plus 1595 is just their asking price you can always negotiate.

The 125s are not so common. Is there a reason you specify the 125? (eg Mum setting that as limit or something).

I suggest you consider an older GN250. Sound ones from the 1980s or even 1990s can be had on occasion for less than $1000. And they are robust enough to still be going well at that age. And as they are still in production (!) spare parts re readily available.

If your need is for transportation you might consider a small scooter, various models are aredily available within your budget.

I am sure that someone will read you a lecture about the need to spend $5000 on protective "gear". Take such extreme figures with a grain of salt. However you will need to allow for a helmet, and some protective clothing. This need not be anywhere near as expensive however as some would have you believe. (it can often also be requested as christmas or birthday presents ! verb. sap)

Ixion is correct my mother has put a limit on me (150cc) and gave me a big lecture on you got to learn to crawl before you walk. I suggested en125 because they look awesome, but the one on bikepoint is slightly too expensive. Thanks for all your help so far.:yes:

Problem is that you're going to be fairly limited for choice in bikes (lots of scooters) in that price range and cc rating.

Thought about scooters? Mr Texmo manages to punt them along pretty impressively
