Sitting inside on the computer yesterday evening and get a knock on the door from the neighbour who just saw someone in their washhouse stealing stuff and another one up our driveway. Bolted outside to look in the garage and saw the that someone had had a go at stealing mums bike-a gsx 250, SOBS had knocked it over in their haste to get away when the bloke next door raised the alarm.
Whats almost funny is the fact that there was a choice between 4 other bikes, a gsxr 600, 750 triumph sprint and that, and of all those they picked the one that was worth the least an parked behind a ute making it the most difficult to steal. Munters.
They managed to steal and empty parcel tray from my car, and 3 soiled rags that I was using to wipe my wheel rims, which we found across the road after they bolted and dropped. Id like them to come back and try again, since the process of natural selection didnt work the first time im pretty sure I can give nature a helping hand with the aid of the axe to correct the mistake of their existence

Just remember that you'll become the bad guy. It's like the ol' burglar suing the residents for tripping over something inside the house

You were pretty lucky that your neighbour did raise the alarm. My old neighbours certainly wouldn't have. In fact they would probably help the thieves

I had a bike stolen years ago - Got it back without too much damage. The aholes get aways with it.

There were 2 of them and they had seperate court hearings. They used exactly the same story and lies at each. Both said the other one was riding the bike, and that the other one said that it was their cousins bike and they were returning it to AK for them as a favour.

I was at both court hearings as a witness and the 3rd ahole in the story - the judge - the same judge in both cases - wouldn't let me tell what happened in the first case. Result a few hundred $$$s damage, 2 days travelling to court etc etc.

Nah didnt bother, walked the neibourhood with dad and the neighbours (3 of them, all 150kg pissed off samoans) but didnt see where they got to. Was dark and didnt get a clear look at any of them, all I would have been able to say is ''3 guys running real fast the oposite way from here''.

Bike had a busted indicator but otherwise ok. Stupid glue sniffing pricks couldnt even turn it around properly

Yep you're far better off being a crim than a ordinary Joe six pack in this country. If you get caught (unlikely) you'll either get off completely or get off with a pathetic sentence.

Reckon im more of a joe Bourbon but I see your point jimbo. Nah wouldnt kill them but beating the shit out of them would be a temptation almost impossible to resist

Sorry Dudes to be so cynical but the system is there to protect the crims and make lawers very rich !!! No one ever asks us what we think !!!

Maybe if we just let the crims get away with every thing then the lawers would starve and we could change the system HMMMMMMM

Vigilanti squad anyone !!!!

Yep, the system sucks
Crims have got it good. You can do anything you want and get a pat on the back for it. If a hard working law abiding citizen has a go at ya, they get done for assault and you get to go scot free with a pat on the back and a nice chequ from the welfare department each week to boot. Then while all the hard workers are out working, you get to take whatever you want from their homes. cos they aren't there and you might even be able to rape someones wife.

If for any reason, you do something 'real bad" whatever that is nowadays, you get a lawyer all paid for and might end up in a five start hotel, with a cellphone, three meals a day and a clean bed. It only costs the workers a $100,000 a year to keep you in the hotel but you still get suck hooch and you can organise some boys to pay the complainant a visit when they get out.

The life of a crim is soo good. .....

I've never understood what makes someone want to steal something. Why don't they try working for it like most people do? You give 'em the bash and that'll just make them "harder" for next time. When I was on PD the boys there who'd had the bash from the cops let it be known like a badge of honour.

You're in the 'Nui, aren't you? I'm surprised the bikes have lasted this long :nya:

I have to go with beyond here. Apparently the murder of someone (i.e a friend of mine) only gets you 8.5 years with parole available after 5. Being an accomplice to that only gets you 4.5 years. This stupid fuckin' country and it's stupid fuckin' laws. :angry2:

Bring back capital punishment or at least some good old fashioned mob justice, that'd sort the scum out.

Shotguns no use, see previous posts and remember what happened to the farmer who shot the fucks stealing his quad bike-cops had a fit and took him to court. Bikes are usually locked but since we had a friend coming to visit late and mum was sitting in the back porch didnt think it would be an issue. Guess I was wrong, wont happen again though (at least as easily anyway)

I was thinking, imagine rolling up into the garage on the bike about one minute earlier and catching the guy in there in the headlights!!! Ha! Would've been awesome.

Bummer, man. Glad they didn;t get away with anything.

If I were you I'd to invest in a couple of those good cable locks and cable the bikes together. ABUS do a good one with rings loose around the cable which makes them really hard to hacksaw. Bolt cutters can't cut the cable either, it just compresses.

And an alarm, even one of those $70 PIR ones you can get from the hardware shop would be enough to get the ears pricked up.

Well most of you know how I feel about thieves! And for those who dont, I think reperation should be giving the victim a baseball bat, a private room and twenty minutes alone.........

See how many of the little scum keep stealing if that penalty was brought in!

I f*cking HATE thieves!

I agree, if you catch someone on your property stealing or doing wrong you should be able to do anything to stop them intill you feel safe.

Remember shoot them then shoot one in the roof. That way you can say it was self defence and you gave them a warning shot.

Probably still workin the neighbourhood...make the phone call next time, Police dog is always hungry for a chew...better sense of smell than the 150kg Samoans, but bet they would have made more of a mess if they caught em...

All the bitchin about Police not turning up, well... they weren't going to turn up to this one were they...

Yes, and after due process he was acquitted. People tend to leave that bit out.

Why the hell would they want to steal a GSX? They are more than welcome to mine! We had a similar situation which resulted in my brother and I chasing 2 people down the street after finding them trying to nick gas from our cars. When we caught them they must have slipped over or something because they had lots of cuts and grazes  . My brother recons one of them might have slipped onto his fist once or twice. I dont know how that happened. I think that taught the little punks more of a lesson than being arrested. All credit to the cops too, they turned up within 5 minutes. :nono:

Yeah maybe you should have let a couple of cartridges off and seen how long it would have taken for the cops to turn up. The justice system in this country needs a revolution. The only beneficaries are the friggin lawyers.

I've always thought it would be best to go for the kneecaps. Then you know nothing too bad is going to happen (aside from not being able to use one leg if it's the .303) but they're going to be totally out of action. Doesn't help with the whole being had up by the courts for defending yourself though.

Kneecaps are good but for real effect try hands, feet, shoulders(top bit near the collar bone) and the ass.

Lots of little bones that dont ever heal right in hands and feet. Shoulder will immobilize the whole arm and the ass, well thats just funny! Imagine trying to explain that one or to sit down right for a couple of weeks.

I have a trick I've always wanted to try with red hot tea spoons next time some lil retard trys to rip my shit off.

Reminds me of the news clipping my old boss kept i his office - story of a guy who saw 2 blokes break into his garden shed. He called the cops, who replied that they would send someone as fast as they could, but it would take a while as they hadno-one in the area. He called them back after a couple of minutes and said that they needen't bother coming over as he had shot them.
Within minutes the Police chopper was hovering overhead whilst the Armed Offenders Squad kicked in his door. They caught the crooks and asked the guy "we thought you said you had shot them", to which he answered "I thought you said you didn't have any officers nearby!?!".
Moral of the story - no corpse, no case.

Weaz, a 303 to the kneecap would blow the leg right off. Makes it easier to give a description to the cops though.

I'm for perament damage, like writing thief on their foreheads with a steak knife, of slicing the nuts off (rapists), or drilling holes on kneecaps.

Amazing how many who have been given a firm shove into the cells tell their mates on PD how "two cops gave me a real bash, it took two of them, if it had been just one it would have been a different story.." Yeah Right!!Well the "full" story of one particular incident (their version anyway) told to me by a very solid chap of pacific island descent - he got arrested, was being put in the cells by a female police officer who pushed him backward at the same time she put her foot behind his. He loses balance and reaches out to grab the nearest thing, which just happened to be her shirt. 100kg+ of brown boy vs buttons of police issue shirt... so the goods fall out, he still falls over and she runs off swearing and cursing after slamming the cell door. A short time later four male officers turn up to rectify the situation, body shots only. He reckoned it was worth it.

Now that's passed from one scumbag to another during a "break" on PD in 1995, so it must be true.
