Any one scored a bike from Emoto? Looking at getting a Aprilia Ditech through them from Japan. They want $1k up front before they even start to look. Any feedback would be good before I flick them my hard earned spondoolies. Cheerz Tim.

Any one scored a bike from Emoto?Yes, I got Peter to import my, before I got my grubby mits on it, low mileage essentially spotless, RVF400. I picked it up mid Jan this year. I then rode it around the South Island for 6500 trouble free kms. Still lovin it, what a bike.

I imagine he wants $1K so he doesn't bid on a vehicle that could be troublesome to sell. I think a DiTech scoot isn't what he normally imports.

Anyway, I was very very happy dealing with eMoto, unless I buy a brand new bike when I have lots of money (After the expected Lotto win) there is a pretty good chance I'll be getting my next bike from him.

I purchased my last bike, a TL1000S from him. I'd totally recommend Peter as someone you can trust, I wouldn't hesitate to trade with him again.

I got my Bimota through Pete... i think my photo is still on the website... highly reccomended by me... i got an awesome bike for the price of an average one.. the best thing about the jap bikes compared to NZ bikes is that for similar or slightly less money you can get one with increadibly low mileage...

good luck, let us know how you get on.

I havent actually bought anything off him (yet) but he has always been very helpful when I have been looking. I enquired about something last year and within about an hour he had a pic of what I wanted and the question. I didnt get organised but when I have the coin together, will be proceeding.

peter worked very hard for me in japan, buying my SR500 donor bike.
he started, played with and photographed a heap of bikes and was very efficient with email replies throughout the process.
couldn't have asked for better.
totally recommend him....

Its just that I cant let my current bike go to get one. Owes me way tooo much and what its worth on the market does not bare thinking about. Thanks for the imput there chaps. Appreciated.
