does anyone know where to get a quick turn [1/5 turn] throttle tube or and insert of some sort for a gsxr750?????
cowpows - get a 01+ R1 throttle tube, they are about 25-30 from local yamaha dealer
and while at it just ya grips and your away.
Its a very common mode to be done, i am still trying to find some grips i like. so i can do it myself.
Its a simple mode, hardest part is adjusting the throttle cables to correctly (has to be down under tank)

Is it true that the Yamaha ones are a little bit too long, and you just need to cut the end off?
imdying from all my reading on www.gixxer.com
No they are the same length etc etc.

Okay...chucked the throttle tube in just before...took bout 20mins...I didn't even need to frigg around adjusting cables under the tank like they say on gixxer.com...only need to shortin the cable with the handle bar cable tensioner thingy....I havn't ridin it yet...but definatly feels a shorter throw...
brillent....ta cajun for pointing me in the right direction....was a peice of piss to do!!!

and by the way....they come with handgrips already on them....and they are a nicer grip IMHO than the gixxers ones...
