View Full Version : Sleek, Feather Weight 2000 DRZ 400 Requires Linkage Rocker Arm

Unfortunately the guy I bought my bike off was only blessed with half a brain and hadn't heard of greasing linkage bearings. The linkage bearings seem to have turned to a strange orange dust. Given the 3 tonne axle-weight of the my DRZ the bolt & spacers ended up grinding through the aluminium casing (the rocker arm).

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a 2nd hand aluminium suspension linkage rocker arm for my weighty pig of a DRZ?

Cheers.

Oooh BUgger....

I had my one repaired as it was only very slighly worn (the guy that owned my bike must have been teh same retard)

They just used some KNeed it (metal epoxy shit) and mine has been fine for 7 months of abuse now.

Must grease my bearings soon again actually....

Cheers Guys, much appreciated.

I think some liquid metal is probably going to be the best option. Just wanted to see if there was any 2nd hand ones floating about so I didn't have to mess around.

Thanks Cheese, but I've already liquid metaled it. I've got the new bearing kit on order through Ballards.

The guy must have been a retard as the drz has grease nipples and takes only a coupla minutes to grease the linkage bearings.
