Goodbye congestion, hello freedom (and soggy undies at work). It arrived today and will be picked up tomorrow just in time for winter. Hopefully the weather will be good this weekend so I can post a review but from what I've heard, they're like a pit bull.

Nice, very nice. Are you waiting for the Porsche to sell so you can afford some decent wet weather gear and avoid the soggy undie syndrome?

Finn

Looks impressive.

Are you still keeping the repsol?

Yip, it's a collectors item and in 10 years it'll be worth nothing.

Got the wet weathers sorted already. Also got a wardrobe at work with a supply of clean, dry undies (and some dirty magazines)

Mate, that is a fkin WEAPON. So very very nice . . . I'm still a little undecided about the headlight, but overall that is one mean looking sonofabitch.

Nice choice, good to see something a little out of the ordinary finding its way onto our streets.

Finn
9th May 2006, 13:14
I'm still a little undecided about the headlight.

We'll is it Italian so it's bound to fall off anyway. Yeah, it looks like it's crying or something but then I thought if it was round it'd be a bit plain. it might grow on me.

9th May 2006, 13:17
It does kinda fit with the rest of the bike tho. Get used to it too, the Italians arent as bad as everyone makes out (well, the aprilia has done me proud so far).

That is a seriously cool looking bike you've got there tho, Finn. A very nice choice, Guru is impressed.

Apparently they wanted it to look like the Porsche ones, which look kinda like Dali's melting clock. Matt T's one had to be replaced - the reflector crapped out.

Finn you knob, that's gotta be the shittiest choice of a commuter bike ever...those Pirelli Supercorsas will be arse in the wet, the electrics will ignite (good for cold days though) in the wet, you've got no fairing protection in the wet, it'll be choking itself at low speeds and overheating...but good on ya for buyin the bike you want and not giving a shit :niceone: Can't wait 'til I've got the dough to get me an Aprillia RSV Factory to commute on :D With Akrapovic pipes it should be able to set off most car alarms in my apartment and office car parks :)

Good on ya Finny, I'll help translate the Italish manual if you like.

So you weren't pulling our legs awhile ago about getting a top shelf bike to commute on! Choice. I guess it was down to that or the 50cc Yammy Jog scoot. So close a decision, you must have flipped a coin.
The 910 will no doubt be easier to wheelie than your Repsol. Bring your Repsol south one day and see how much easier they wheelie closer to Antartica- it's a gravitational pull thingy nearer the Pole.

I hear your pain.

My girlfriends dog chewed my Armani wallet last week, that was depressing enough.

What is it with suits though, jeans, t-shirt and jandals are the "true kiwi businessman" atire.

Checkout the BP in Coro Township, the Maori fella who owns/runs the place comes out and pumps yah' Gas in barefeet, stubbies and a BP T-shirt (The old stripped blue and green ones).

EDIT: Walk through the PWC Tower Lobby in jeans/sneakers. You get more looks.

Finn said he wanted the most expensive bike iin the store ( which is the MV Agusta F4 at $38995), but the riding position was a bit too aggressive, so i got him on the Brutale R and charged him $42995 for it ,...
