An Excercycle... C'mon you know you got that one sitting around getting in the way. You're wondering why you ever bought it.You started out with such good intentions and after a couple of weeks it just started to get in the way and annoy you. Just a basic model will do - see example below in pic 1. Not as in pic 2. although pic 3 looks like a pretty good model....

May I suggest a thousand hamsters farting in unison to power your house. I know ya want $ for bike and all, but creating your own electricity to be on KBs a bit too keen, dont cha thunk?
