Well the heats died down now after last weeks 'incident' (think salt and...) WWIII was averted and the moderaters did a stirling job of sweeping the 'incident' under the carpet, and now all is well. Isn't it? On the surface it seemed a good idea, like, who the hell wants to put up with another inevitable 'us versus them' mudslinging swearing contest. Tiresome shit. Perhaps the 'it didn't happen' mentality is the right way to go after all eh??

I'm sure the resident coppers were bracing for an all-out flak attak, but methinks Spud, S.D. and co.. are big enough and ugly enough to handle it. Methinks the moderaters had a 'be soft on the cops' brain attack. All in all a bit dissapointing really. But hey, life goes on. Must sign off now, I'm running late for flower arrangement class. Cheerio gals.

Revisit the doc and get your prescription changed. Not sure if you need to increase or decrease... but I hope the vent felt good.

Actually I saw a really cool idea for doing a flower arrangement in a ceramic measuring jug as a Mother's Day present, so there was a double gift idea going on.

Was nicely done, and the woman showing us how to do it was mad as a Manx cat with a playboy bunnies tail attached.

"OK... First I'll access the secret military spy satelite that is in geosynchronous orbit over the midwest. Then I'll ID the limo by the vanity plate "MR. BIGGG" and get his approximate position. Then I'll reposition the transmission dish on the remote truck to 17.32 degrees east, hit WESTAR 4 over the Atlantic, bounce the signal back into the aerosphere up to COMSAT 6, beam it back to SATCOM 2 transmitter number 137 and down on the dish on the back of Mr. Big's limo... It's almost too easy."

Rep for the first to name the character who said this and the movie...

Garth Algar, Wayne's World

Played by Dana Carvey.

Heather Locklear played his Unix geek girlfriend in Wayne's World 2. I could go on and on.

Well, that's all the time we had for our movie. We hope you found it entertaining, whimsical and yet relevant, with an underlying revisionist conceit that belied the film's emotional attachments to the subject matter.

That's why Wayne's World is so good. They had the balls to acknowledge their Pythonesque inspiration.

Two of my most favourite movies of all time.

I love the Bohemian Rhapsody scene in the Pinto.
And when he's rushing to the church to stop Cassandra's marriage (the Charlton Heston and Terminator Cop bits).
And the running gag with the Indian.
And when he meets Cassandra's father for the first time.
And when Garth loses his virginity.

Must get both DVDs out next wet weekend...
