I was out with the usual suspects and we got to Whitianga, where we discover PETROL DRIPPING FROM MY BIKE. Whipped the tank off and there was a stream of explosive liquid coming out of a pin hole. Seems something has been rubbing in 1 spot for a very long time and has now worn a hole through the damn tank.
Anyway, I now need someone in Hamilton that can fix it before next weekend. Suggestions please!!

Araldite (credit to Mr WINJA) will fix it. Back it up with some fibreglass cloth if you wish.

Permatex fuel tank repair is working well on the triumph, the cause of the rubbing needs to be sorted for a long lasting repair, available from BnT, should be a branch in Hamilton

dude quck solution.Sand the area with wet and dry paper till its shiney new metal. Then use a 10 ox ball pein hammer and tap the hole slightly concave.
Use Knead it METAL repair on the hole.
Andrew at City motorcycle dismantlers definitely has a tank hanging up for your bike--and its the right color.

I've had a positive personal experience with Knead-It. My mate used it on his raceboat tank. Impervious to avgas, petrol should be fine too.

I think the inventors of Knead-It may have thanked God when they discovered New Zealand. Number eight wire in a sausage.
