Was pretty bornig for a while when the riders were just sitting around waiting to see if it would rain or not at this time sete gibernau was up top.
Once they decided to go out again they ran a lot! faster we even saw Shinya Nakano in 1st place for a while until edwards took it then soon after Dani Pedrosa.Then in the last seconds the Suzuki boy John Hopkins stole 2nd position.

First pole for Pedrosa,dunno what Edwards is doing on the front row,doubt if he and Hopkins will stay there for long.Rossi has bad front end chatter,but the new kids are too hot,Hayden consistant.....he could lose his crown this season.

If Rossi doesnt make any mistakes aka not run to many courners wide then he could fight his way up into the front group.But i wouldnt completely rules out Edwards and Hopkins.Lets just hope none of the big guns crash

I'd be asking more questions about Nakano being up there than Edwards. Remember Edwards won the BMW in the wet at the last test before the season.

it will all depend on teh weather. if its wet then rossi is the fastest out there, if its dry then its anyone's race. either way, go stoner :Punk:

agreed Jim2 then again would be kinda cool to see Shinya win infront of his home crowd he said he only lives 2 hours or so away from shanghai track.

True K14 Rossi is going to have to race very hard though.

the fact rossi is back up to pace and the fact he can ride on poked tires fairly well would suggest that he aint having too much trouble with chatter and that the others should be worried

Last year, Shanghai China's MotoGP debut, was totally washed out, full-wet race.
I remember Olivier Jacque stood in for Alex Hofmann on the Kawasaki and went balls out with gonads of steel; Parting the floodwaters - even Moses would have been proud.
In the end Rossi clinched it though...
