Bah just do MR's trick LMAO, take him for a ride redline it, pop the clutch and watch him fall of the bike, otherwise if your bike is damaged it can be covered by the Police or insurance...

Dude what do you expect if you smack somebody up. How about just grow up already?! <_< Were you trying to be your hero Indiana Jones or something? If I started mocking your FXR would you come and smack me up? :bash:

He is probably jealous - what does he ride/drive ? A skateboard ? He might really like bikes and is pissed that he hasn't got one himself.

Hey, why not be the bigger man and apologise for the smack ? You might be able to guage from his response whether he has revenge on his mind.

If you suspect tampering, check your brakes especially, as there are a few nasty tricks (pressing the calipers in - no brakes until pumped back up)

School seems like soooo long ago.

You better start saving for a bigger bike dude...
Soon your "...dumb c*&t..." will be driving his mothers corolla or the like and you'll have to race hime down to the F&C shop at lunch time.Dont wanna lose to a mummies car driving dork do you?

Tell him you're sorry for hitting him but he should'nt be dissin' your choice of transport.Tell him to come along on a KB ride some time and see what/how some of these people ride...then he might change his mind :Playnice:

Bikes ARE cool everyone knows that :msn-wink: .

Maybe he's got another perspective on motorcycles and his comment wasn't necessarily a personal attack on you...maybe you should ask him? you
might learn something about how other people think about stuff

Yea, that wasn't all that cool when I got shit from thoes idiots in high school. My trick was to park right infront of the nice detention ladies's window and be really nice to them. In return, the nice ladies looked out for any trouble makers for me. Once, they even told off some of my mates for playing with my bike when I wasn't around and I thanked them for that. Thats probably why I could get away with that wheelie trick too... Its not only the guys who intend to cause harm, the curious people are just as anoying as they flood the engine from playin with the throtle.

Once I got the ex-race ZXR 400 with the race pipe, numbers etc still on it, every one kept their mouth shut and went about their own way with envy.

If you can't leave your bike guareded like I did, its prolly best to get along with that idiot and be the better man. You hit him, he fucks your bike, you mess him up, he gets his boys on you etc won't go anywhere good.

Lol...is it ?

Smackin someone for dissin your ride is a bit dumb. maybe if they had touched the bike. But even then violence isnt the answer. Use your superior wit to beat the moron. ie. my bike may suck, but not as good as your mum. etc etc.

Agree with most of the above.
In my experience your only detractors are those who are to chikensh*t to give it a go.

Fully agree to extending the olive branch but follow it up with a ride as a pillion around the carpark he may just be in the market when you are ready to upgrade.

imho most people that make fun of other peoples things/ambitions or whatever tend to have reasons for being that way, usually jealousy, it would have been a better option to have asked him why he has a dislike of your bike and whether it's his experience that gives him the knowlege or whether he is just plain ignorant, then offer to give him some experience. Like someone else says he may be the one that wants to buy your bike when you decide to upgrade, I bet he doesn't even have a licence!!

So don't. Appeal to his sense of manhood call him out.
In a very public way (in front of the class not the whole school) challenge him to either accept your apology or prove the falibility of your chosen mode of transport given the current fuel prices.

If we are right and his predjudice is based in a lack of knowledge he will need to accept he was wrong and your apology.

If we are wrong he will get to vent in the form of a civilised debate (get your english or drama teacher in on it).

If he is a bully who is capable of getting others to put the smackdown on you he will look like a f#$&wit and a sore loser if he tries anything else, especially if he loses the debate.

The pen is mightier than the sword.

If you are better at essays than debate challenge him to a essay on the same topic "Are bikes a valid choice for transport" with the class voting on the victor.

Nothing is more fun than a moral victory where a bully is torn limb from limb by his own peers.

I'm old but not that old. Just because it is not normal does not mean it will not work. He does not have to stoop to further violence and he could be really proud of himself if he is able to resolve this through diplomacy, tact and intelligence.

Have to agree with duckman here. I know the exact same type you are talking about. I used to have things get done to my scooter at school. I never did anything about it but I knew who it was. Just take it on the chin and avoid him. Don't stoop to his level and eventually he will get bored and find someone else to pick on. Although violence isn't normally the best way to resolve things, sometimes it does work.

Yea right. Can't help but think that some of the attitude you generate might be caused by the attitude you have.

Hey good idea Big Dog - to make it even more interesting they should each have the opposition argument. That guy thats so opposed needs to do research and try and prove why "bikes ARE a valid choice for transport" and Indy has to prove why they aren't ....

Its a great way of stamping out any prejudice when you have to put yourself
in someone elses argument and disprove your own opinions to win it!

Nice thoughts, but in terms of their peers, a big huddle and the words FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT being chanted comes to mind.

Just let it rest. If anything happens to your bike i am sure a few guys showing up on bikes and asking this guy why he would want to damage something that is obviously special to you would sort things out. But i find that ignoring the dickheads in society is the best way to piss them off. They expect a reaction where if you just put a smile on your face and answer "if you say so" then he will try find someone else to piss off.

Or we could all go down to his next sports event and be seen without intimidating anyone. Like he would get f&%$ed with after seeing a turnout of real bikers, that he later rode of with.

:niceone: an excellent way to show this young man some support. No threats of violence. No words spoken at all.Just silent dissent.Would probably cause the bike hater to appologise voluntarily. Then, with civility restored, the debate would have some merit.
