Why?
Serious question.
Why do you have a moustache or maybe a goatie?
Do you think you look.....cool?
Seriously. I just don't get it. Sorry.
Ok - so if you want to be a highway cop, fairy snuff, it's in your contract. And you goatie (or is is goatee?) types, apart from being slightly right wing or possibly a little 'arty', do you feel.....special?

When my hair starts getting long, then having short face hair seems wierd. So it sort of balances out the face. Also whenever I shave my face goes into mental rash mode.
So I rikee the bum fluff

I'm sorry but I just don't get it.
You pompous git!
I'm another who hates shaving - it definatly really wants to grow on your face, there seems to be nothing you can do to stop it....so why bother.I took off the beard a few years ago....and sometimes I glance in a reflective window and see some decreped old fart with silver stubble...oh bugger, gotta mow the lawn again.
The mustache has been there along time,so have my ears and nose....all never stop growing for life....

Done the full beard & long hair trip. down to a goatee now days basically just to hide a dirty big scar under my chin (face planted the corner of a ceramic table one night, pissed out of my nut and never bothered getting it stitched up)

Just won't grow - perhaps that's why I look so youthful:laugh: One thing that just doesn't seem right is guys with no hair on top but hair all over their face like an upside down comb-over

Its normally because I have very sensitive skin, and have a use a new razor or I get a rash and then ingrown facial hair!... thus I can't afford new razor's every second day that I do not clean shave.. though I do use the electric every other day (sometimes).

Wull...
This is the longest I have ever been clean shaven... But oim a profusseeunull now...
But... I stopped shaving when I left school and at one stage had a beard I could plait which was daft c'os it would whack me when i rode me boik... Regular ZZ Top stuff... Then I had long hair and all the rest as well...
Really, I hated mornings and looking at myself in the mirror first thing.. urgh!
Thankfully, very few pictures remain!
Vicki works for a company that sells razors etc and so I gets them at the right price. My latest wet shaver is a 4 blade thing that vibrates (I kid you not) which does not seem to cut closer than a regular 3 blade but is kinder to the skin.
If you get ingrown hair after shaving, there is a lotion stuff you can use (ingrain or something) which stings a bit but does work. I think it also discourages hair growth so be careful.
When I retire and become un profussionull I intend to grow a kick arse white beard and play santa claus every xmas...

A german woman (who had had quite a bit of psychotherapy ) once told me "You wear zis goatee beard so you look like your mothers c*nt".

I had a discussion with a gentleman a few weeks ago about facial hair. He was an older guy with an almost white goatee and mo. I think you guys are lucky you can grow the stuff and shave some of it and leave other bits. It looks good on most men when it is nicely trimmed. One that makes me laugh is the little skinny bit some guys leave right under the bottom lip, in the middle. I feel like telling the guy he missed a bit while shaving.

Ive had a moustache since I was 15 just never shaved it off. Had a Goatee for a while but some Homo in Japan said he liked it while trying to pick me up (jeez that shook me up a bit). Got paranoid about it making me appeal to Gays so I shaved it off and never had one since.
Had a goatee most of the time since my late teens.
I look about 12 years old and roundfaced with no facial hair for some reason. I also dont look the greatest with a full beard either. Goatee works for me, and doesnt annoy the missus too much (she'd prefer clean shaven but agrees I look right daft with a shaved face, I did it one day for her to prove the point and she couldnt wait for it to grow back, said it was like shagging a chubby cheeked 14 year old)
