LOL, that's just what I was thinking. Visual evidence of why wearing just shoes is a dumb idea. (Which coincidently is confirmed in <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=29362">this</a> thread).

I was thinking that even though the bike was pushing him along, it was probably better than being pinned under it. The former allowed him to roll, perhaps only losing patches of skin on all the pointy bits. Where the later might result in, well a more gruesome outcome.

I think I may have to start leaving my work shoes at work and wearing the boots on the bike and changing footware at work. I always wear boots on the open road etc but round town seemed safe enough.. Bad decision really.
