Been listening to the new Godsmack album lately and it fuckin rocks. Did a search last night for their video of "Speak" and found this:

Wicked cool vid of bikes, babes and burnin rubber :headbang: three things which are dear to my heart.

There's choppers, hot rods and even some stunting to keep the sprot bikers happy. What more could you ask for?

Great Video.

Great Band. The album is getting a lot of play in my car for sure - I like it a lot. I hope they make it here on tour someday.

I Stand Alone has some nice choppers in that video too. The guys out cruising on the desert highways.

The new album is 'IV' (Four). Out in the US but not here for a week or so yet. It's great. A solid effort. If you like their earlier albums you'll like this one too.

Hmf, far from it. Good bands never fade away. 'Specially good metal & hard rock bands. Trouble is you never hear from them in this neck of the woods unless you go looking for them - cause of all the shite they play on the radio.

The vid got TV play on Ampd on Thursday night. One of those guys doing tricks on a sports bike is way LARGE. And the women.....well they're hot!

Dammit Seb! You know I get amped up when listening to good metal. Throwing bikes in the vid just makes it worse. I so want to go thrash some roads now!!!

Need to get up that way again for a headbangers ball and m'cycle ride.

Damm right man. 'M gonna be pretty busy most weekends headin toward the end of semester in mid June but will have loads more free time in the inter semester break. I'll let you know when theres some good metal bands on at Hysteria in the city, and we can round up some of the other KB headbangers and ride out for a few drinks and some good music on a Saturday night.

Didn't take long for the copyright "owner" the RIAA to get it taken down.

**considers rant about old world monopolies not GETTING new world ways, but decides against it**

Viva la EFF

Im a pretty major Zombie fan and I quite like the album. One of the artists I would travel to see for sure.

Having said that nothing compares to the genius of "La Sexorcisto" or "Astro Creep". Of the later solo stuff, my favourite is "The Sinister Urge".

If you get a chance, GO SEE "Metal: A Headbangers Journey". Its on at the film festival. Its a great great movie... doco about metal music, and metalheads. Interviews with RZ, Lemmy, Tony Iommi, Bruce Dickinson, plus a bunch of the newer guys: slayer, cannibal corpse etc.

I really liked it. My SO didnt like it when I was singing along with "Run to the Hills" though. what the hell.

here is a link to the review on the nzff site.

it might come back: Some Kind of Monster did last year.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-aShXdKfXM&mode=related&search=

"The group recently toured with 10 Years and Ill Niņo in support of its third album Ten Thousand Fists, released worldwide on September 20th, 2005. It debuted at #1 in the U.S. In addition to Ten Thousand Fists the band has released the tracks Hell and Monster, although Monster is currently unavailable to the public because the iTunes offer it came with expired. Hell is currently streamed on the band's MySpace website."

Aaaanyway, this thread is getting off topic and straying away from the parent forum of Hogs & Cruisers.

Suggest further musical discussion be conducted in an off topic forum, e.g. "Metal Music Thread".
