I'm down here for the day and I forgot how cool you guys are. NZ could do with a lot more of you. I said "Hi, take me to Addington please..." "Fucken Cullen" was the taxi drivers response. He then went on about bitch face and all the other freaks in Labour. I felt right at home. The on the way back to the airport same thing again, prompted by me asking, "Happy with the budget?" ... "Bloody idiots... so fat people get handouts now too.

My first day ever in Chch I got a bollocking from a coppa for, get this - jay walking.

I then went to a takeaway and said "I'll have a, ummm, hot dog please. With mustard". The reply "That's a mustard dog you moron".

Speak english, and
Get you to your destination

What is the price for a Taxi to or from the airport in ChCh these days?

The plane dropped me off at the airport so no need to catch a cab. However it cost me 30 bucks from the airport to the city.

Funny you should mention it. I almost PM'd you this morning to try and catch up for a beer at some stage today but as I was heading out the door this morning my lady muttered something. All I heard was bla, bla, bla, dinner, bla, bla, bla, birthday, bla, bla, bla bastard... So I arrived in CHCH at 10:15, waved the company flag at a customer and caught a 3pm flight out.

Next time for sure.
