Hi
I am looking at locating any members of the 1960's motorbike gang called the Devil's Disciples. It was based in Wanganui and the Prseident was Peter Collins. I was a member around 1968-9 and was called Crash. Maybe if there are enough we could have a reunion.

taranaki is north eh? yes, theres a bp just outside town on the new plymouth road. we dont count him as part of wanganui though.
there are 4 bps here in town, all owned by the same guy. one in the main street, another by the mall [where the cemetary circuit is] one on the other side of the river and mine by the swimming pool.
who do you know?

I had a bit to do with a Peter Collins thru Wanganui Road Rodders in the 70's. Get in touch with Rod Sklenars, Willy Peltzer or Murray Palmer, I'm sure they will know where he is.

Geesus, Never thought I would see that name mentioned on these forums, Anyhow, Pete works in the laundry down at Imlay/Affco.
I know a number of the other "members" though I would imagine they would rather leave the past where it is.

Maybe, just maybe, someone wants an old fashioned reunion - one that doesn't involve a decades long vendetta, hunting down the last member who ripped off their hooch and old lady back in the 70's.
There is such a thing as genuine enquiries to locate and old friend or acquaintance without sinister overtones.

Don't be too hard on him - he's American.

Its scary that he chooses to use the internet to track down the devils disciples... I'd of though a ouija board would be better but perhaps the interweb really IS a conduit of evil?

Just found this thread,
I know a couple of the guys from those long ago days, I hung around them as a young impressionable teenager.
Hopefully Kevin caught up with some of the boys.
I saw Puku outlaw just the other day.

Coker's Hotel was at 59 Manchester St near the Hole in The Wall snack bar a couple of doors down from where Whiting's Honda was or Ogilvies Hotel nearer Moorhouse Ave.
The old man when he was in the MOT had to attend an accident outside Coker's where a drunk guy had walked out in front of a car & had his head run over, when they identified who the guy was it turned out to be a good mate of my Grandfather's who'd been at their home (upper Riccarton Police station) only two nights earlier for tea
