Those Suzuki 150s really scare me, with their scary bicycle tyres, and the 2-smoke ones make a scary sound. One went past me the other day when I was in the car, and the sound and sight of it nearly made me piss my pants. Luckily my wife was in the car with me, and she made it all right. Whew!

The Boss Hog:second:with the butt ugly fan in the front, which beats the Suzuki GS 1200:third: with Mr Potatoe Head at front and it's cut of ass) in ugly bike points as the GS 1200 just needs a change of farrings (which would be a lot more affordible concidering their price differences) to be a really descent bike.
But 1st prize:first:would have to go to Chrisler (fu*ken spelling, you know the Yank Car W*nks) for they concept "Bike". A square box with duel Front and Rear wheels (you could argue that it was just one of their car that had got trapped in a car compactor):puke:

I think we are talking about looks not what they ride like. S'pose some bikes are 'Kool' some are just 'Kooler' than others, but again some bikes are 'Hot' and some bikes are heaps 'Hotter' than others. Which begs the question is your bike 'Hot' or 'Kool?' Cheers Bob,having a dig at my baby like that.Right enough the Fazer`s known as "the ugly bike" on BBs all over the net, those of you that havn`t seen one click on my avatar.Seriously good bike though and one of the few where used prices are actually going up,I`ve seen 3 in dealers recently same year as mine going for quite a lot more than I paid over a year ago,and that was top book at the time. It`s not pretty but I`ve kind of got to like the looks, got a kind of brutal streetfighter type profile, the main competitor is the Hornet 600,nice but girly.Thankfully the Suzi 1200SS makes it look a thing of beauty and I`m pretty sure the cheap ones you`re getting is a result of the abuse thrown at it when Suzuki announced it`s sale over here,it never actually hit the show-rooms.

I agree, in it's day that would have been right up there, compare it to the gs1000 & cb750 of the day. Technology wise it had some good things. Everyone thought underseat radiators were wicked when they came out on the Britten 12 or so years later and yet a Harley, a manufacturer better known for tractor like engines (almost) had them in 1980.

Hey, I once wrote an article on this very subject! (http://www.bobpickett.co.uk/bkit/outofthebox.htm)!
Small world etc...
Good yarn Bob.
I've tryed to ride as many different bikes as I could,I also have the same approach to other activitys in life.
So far I've never found one I didn't like.
You must be a REAL biker mate  :msn-wink:

OK, this probably isn't the Most ugly, but what is with the plastic shit over the clocks? it looks like its going balb prematurely so has an old man's comb-over.
Besides this, I'd have to say anything with more than two wheels is pretty ugly.

Yes,it's a bit ugly - but compare it to a bike from it's era (late 60s I'd say from the drum brake) and it fits right in.At the time we just thought...fuuuuuccckkkk!!!!!
Hey,good article alright Bob,that's me too - I have a lot of preduces, and love to see them get kicked.Walk up to a bike and think...oh shit,a fuckin cruiser! I hate these things...yeah,and come back with a grin, thinking I want one of these.People who buy a bike because it's the latest thing or because all their mates have one are sad cases - but then that's why I got a dirt bike...it was the new thing, everyone was doing it...I'm happy I got into the new craze.(early 70s in case you think I'm a young fulla)

they've got amazing marketing powers!
and this is even better!!!
"Finally a full fledged cruiser hits the Indian roads. A 250cc, water cooled V twin with 26 BHP of gut wrenching power and exhilarating performance."

They dont really make them do they, all I ever see them doing is packaging stuff to be sent to "this fabricator" or "That fabricator". The more I watch the less they seem to be building.
Dont really have a dislike for any particular bike. Cant say Im a big fan of Goldwings, but they have a place somewhere in the biking community.

He's been pressing everybody that vists into taking it for a ride an then asking for opinions.
My turn came a few weeks ago.I thought it was ok for what it was.It sat on 100kms without any worrys but if I was in the market for a bike like that I'd buy the GN125.The GN's just got better finish and known factory history/back up ect. Both look OK for what they are.I mean their both economy commuters aye. :spudwhat:

Owner of this bike sent a pic to Supermoto magazine and asked "What do you think?",let`s just say they were very diplomatic. There`s something similar round these parts with CBR600 mag wheels but it`s a lot prettier than this one,if it was ridden flat-out into the front of a truck it`d still be prettier than this one.

Yeah but what I was getting at was why the CX when they had more suitable 4 cylinder bikes they could have turbo-charged? From what I`ve read and heard the Kwak was the only one that was really worthwhile.

Worlds ugliest bike BMW K1.
American Chopper just purchase the parts out of catalogues of custom parts made by fabricators.
Frame, forks, swingarm (if fitted - LOL), tank, wheels, bars, engine, brakes, and seat.
They then assemble the bits together when they arrive (basically they are fitters) they then get a welding torch out and cut up a small but of metal, grind it a bit, then attach it, do a few bits of finishing and park their name on it (basically its Hewlett Packard ... kinda look the same too).
