portion of people below you 71%
portion of people the same as you 3%
portion of people above you 26%

seems they got their statistics wrong, unless i have forgotten mine ;)

That could be right, assuming the people that got above you are actually gay, then they should score in the 90% or higher for "gayness" thus skewing the data into a non bell shaped curve. So it could be right, although it does sound a little wierd.

Well I have a Jewish grandmother so in theory than makes it 75% at least, but then there was the little matter of the operation just after I was born, so that brings it down a bit.
