Hi everybody, am new to wellington i dont know to ride my bike on the sunny day. Could somebody tell me where to go or somebody would kindly ride with me? Cheers:scooter: :rockon:

We do a cruisy night ride usually on Wednesday, 6pm onwards at the avalon duckpond.

Weekends usually find some of us up the Tuka's or further afield in the rapa. Some prefer the piecock hill rd.

Weathers shite today though.

Any sunny weekend day you'll find motorcyclists congregating at the Rimutaka Hill Summit (don't tell anybody else - it's a secret). Head up State Highway 2, you'll know when you're in the right place.

Mr. Wei, I noticed that last night at around midnight you had a ZX-10 and thismorning I wake up to find you now have a CBR600. Do you have many bikes, or did you find a Honda dealer open 24-hours and trade down late last night?

P.S I'm thinking of going for a ride in a couple of hours, leaving from Lower Hutt at around midday.

Sorry we missed you MrWei, I was on my way when you posted this. The Elephant Pond is at Avalon Park, just over the Kennedy-Good bridge turnoff from S.H.2 near Kelson.

Don't forget the TCWNR at the same place most Wednesday evenings.

went for a ride to berhampore & back to pick up my new keyboard that was about the only ride I did today. Am thinking of checking out piecook hill road out this way in porirua. found a map & it looks very long & lots of corners

Oh I shot past him rather cheekily on the hill, just wondered why he was being a nanna on a zx-10.

Knight rider-watch out for cops on the paikak hill. They hide up driveways, real sneaky like, got one of my mates a while back. Shame cause it spoils a real nice road

ha ha..he must have been cruisin....he is normally very fast when givin all his augasta buddies the learn...he was flying last Saterday.

Must have been some other guy then. I stopped at the top for a break even though he kept going and I still caught him at the bottom

thanks for the advice vasaline warrior will keep that in mind when I ride that road

I'm in Lower Hutt, where most hard-core bikers live 'round these parts. I'm not often far away from my couch in the evenings, but will be out on the Hill this weekend. I'll PM you later in the week.

Actually on Thursday afternoon a bunch of northern KBers are coming through town on their way south for the Brass Monkey Rally. I'm thinking of hooking up with these guys for the trip through to the ferry terminal. Will post more details soon.
