When my wife and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver's side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. "Hey," I announced to the technician, "it's open!" To which he replied, "I know - I already got that side."
No central locking? When did you buy this car - 1964?

Aha, most central locking systems are only operated by the drivers door, not any others.

Wots central locking???????
as far as i can work out, it's on newer bikes when the ignition keyhole is in the middle of the handlebars, and the ignition key also locks the handlebars - CENTRAL LOCKING.. unlike some bikes (crusiers) where the key goes in the side for ignition, and sometimes somewhere else to lock the handlebars..
:D
