Hope you two have fun despite the lack of motorcycle... Can you really blame them for not responding after you sent them photos?! :nya:

Look here girly.......if you continue to take the piss out of my beautiful flouro vest, which by the way has been upgraded to a fluro vest sewn onto a polar fleece vest( extra warmth and visibilty), I will not be there to wave traffic past when you fall off:blah:

With the weather the poms get in June, you might appreciate a cage...

Have a great time over there!

Have fun. Which part of the country are you aiming to see?

Say Hi to my Mum if you see her and ask her to send me some more money, thanx ;)

Have a safe trip

It'll be in the middle of summer in the UK and the average is likely to be around 20 deg C

www.highlandrider.com Based in sunny Linlithgow, Central Scotland and good guys. Reasonably handy for Edinburgh airport too. Try www.easyjet.com for a cheap connection from Heathrow.

There's also some dudes in Southampton that hire out motorsickles. You're probably making the mistake of going to Google which then detects your PC is in kiwiland. Try www.google.co.uk

Alternatively, try ebay.co.uk or biketrader.co.uk and just buy a bike (much cheaper than over here) and sell it before ya go home.

< BAIT >
Yer main hassle will be insurance, especially as everyone knows how poor the standard of driving is in kiwiland.
< /BAIT >

Seriously though, if you can arrange your own insurance then loads of companies will hire out bikes to you. I was with ebikeinsurance.co.uk and they do pay as you go inswearance.

Good luck and you'll need $hitloads of money (petrol is 3 NZD per litre) and accommodation is a rip-off.

you'll be glad of the car in scotland

went there last year and it rained every £$%%ing day

try Warrs in London they rent out bikes

temp here is still around 15 degrees if it hits 20 its a heat wave and everything stops cause the computers have overheated
