it looks like a 1976-1979 RM125 motor
though d-pig could be right about a yamaha they to had the cross over clutch as well. I'm sure F5dave or speedpro will know
nice set of electrics for your bucket racer....

Definatly a Yamaha trail bike from the 1970's,and same as Diesel,that left flywheel cover is wierd.Kinda like a TY,but they are 175,and should be wider for the bigger flywheel,and also magnesium.Must be an MX engine,whatever Yamaha called the MXer's in those days.

So eligibility wise its out, rule 24-2-4 no mx, enduro, roadracing or kart engines allowed, bummer.

Well, I might put it in the KH frame and see if I can keep up with the back markers until the 'real' engine is ready for the KH... (I don't race for points)

Until then it's the AX and the back of the field for me. :scooter:
