It would seem I'm going to be in town this coming weekend so I thought I might as well organise a ride.
Edit:
Place: BP Fitziherbet Ave
Time: Meeting 10:30, Leaving 11 o'clock
Where to: The Flying Fish to meet up with the wellingtonians for lunch
When: Sunday 4th
Status: Currently Off - Weather looks too bad
Proposed route: http://www.wises.co.nz/?point=-40.359117_175.635224|1^140080|2
Leaving my old flat (pm for details) 2-3pm ish. Depending on peoples availablity. Possibly going over the track or other windy back roads. probably a hour+ but depends on what everyone wants.
Will be at slow to medium paced. So any one is welcome.

Would be nice to get a ride in, if you have any idea of what the route would be could you please let me know, I am afraid of the wind gusts as I spend a lot of the time fighting to keep on the right side of the road. :scooter:

Don't fight it - you must learn to relax your hands and arms and grip the tank with your legs. Sounds all wrong but is much easier if you DON'T fight it.
Enjoy your ride!

Yes please keep us posted.
Right ok, im gonna go ahead and see what interest i can get.
I need to know if you guys want to goto the "flying fish" in martinborough (welly kbers prefered spot, plenty of safe secure parking in plain view of where we will be sitting). or prehaps some other cafe in masterton?
And what time you guys want to turn up there, we would leave caltex rimutakas here at 10:30 or 11 and be there in a hour and a half or 2 depending on how long we stop on top of the hill for.

According to wises it's about 130k there from Palmy taking 1:30 min + 30 min mess round time/leaving late.
11+2=~1pm (lunch time)
What's everyone think? I'll let my non kb mates know and see what they think.
