Oh my goshes, I think it's time we have a Boston Legal Appreciation Thread. A BLAT, it seems.

Favourite bit from last night's was when Alan Shaw was trying to convince that Public Whatshisface that Brad Chase was going to run against him. Oh, and Denny's conversation with Daniel (Michael J. Fox)

What bits were your favourites?

As much as I love the program, I think there's probably already a whole website dedicated to it.

I deliberatly avoid that program cause its American shite. Michael J Fox sealed its coffin long ago

Think the shows 'MJF' thread is wearing a bit thin. I hate BEtty Whites role in the show. Alan and Denny make it. Rene Auberjonois's role seems only a plot device.

Love the show though. If I hadnt given it a chance I would have written it off as 'American shite' too :).

It's good, but it used to be better when it had a hot brunett on it.... then they got rid of the hot brunett and got a dirty blonde who's too old and they also got rid of the hot blonde very soon afterwards. Now it just has a dirty blonde who's too old, a ex-secretary who kills people, and a couple of young associates who in general sucks.

Well I still love the program though.

True, but I prefer Houses' sarcasm and wit. Plus the program makes sense and is unpredictable until the end.

Reckon House is a little predictable. They often break into houses (hee) and last nights reveal wasnt that great.

Like the quote: 'you had me at 15 yr old teenage catwalk model'.

Classic. But I agree, Fox's character should die. Now. (I haven't watched last nights episode yet so hopefully he has).

But yes, I do enjoy the normal end-scenes between those two guys.

I don't really enjoy Fox's character either.

House has become predicable, its an American tv trait.
Person gets sick, doctors spend an hour injecting, cutting, anal probing, and eventually figure it out and the patient is saved....phew.
Still, its worth watching Hugh Lawrie and his quick wit.

Boston Legal is the best thing on telly at the moment. Along with My name is Earl.

Watch 'Grumpy Old Men', Poms do grumpy with wit and panache.
It was one of your actresses that said Poms sound better reading a phone book, than an American does reciting the Gettysburg address.

Indeed. - Even my girlfriend agrees...

Can't believe Eidos fired her from being the real-life Lara Croft model... Then the stupid movie makers runed the whole tomb raider series by hiring Angelina Jolie to play Lara Croft in the movies when she doesn't look anything like her... Suck. - prefer her look on boston legal though

Totally agree about House but still watch it cos i like his nastiness... but getting bored with them ALWAYS saving the patient... same scenario every week just a new disease...
Boston Legal Rocks... followed closely by Bones ( closet Buffy and Angel fan here... )
Hard to pick a fav funny moment cos there are so many but I guess I just love the way Alan is so calmly sleazy... brilliant stuff!

I'm not entirely sure I like the direction BL is taking.. they seem to be trying to put a much nicer more human face on Alan and I dont like it, no sir I dont.

Who was the artist that the little girl and Alan were talking about last night?

Hmmm and I've noticed that it seems they got rid of his latest secretary... It used to be a program full of hot actresses and not they got rid of the last "sort of remotely attractive" actress they had and it's now full of ugly people. wtf.

Maybe we should have 'worst reality tv' comp. My votes are: 'We are murdering our kids' and 'Americas next top model'. At least the first one might benefit someone.

bobsmith
14th June 2006, 14:20
My votes also go towards "we are murdering our kids" and "supernanny" well than again I hate all british tv programs and I think anyone who's associated with british tv programs should be shot....

Oh and I just don't get america's top model.... I didn't realise americans were so ugly??? or maybe they just have a crooked view of beauty??? I have been forced to watch that ugly program in the past.... I actually thought I saw a couple of attractive models there - and they were both gone by the end of next week.
