If you love the South Island's roads and scenery. :ride:

If you enjoy really hot summers and brisk refreshing winters. :sunny:

And if you are a motivated person who enjoys being able to ride on any day of the week and not just weekends, then this may be the job for you.

K14 snapped up our last vacancy, and now we have another one. It will be advertised in the South Island papers this weekend, and for the North Islanders who may be interested PM me for more info.

Dispatch Trader.....So what exactly does one of them do?

The Dispatch side of the job is to generate electricity as efficiently as possible while controlling the lakes and rivers of our hydro system. The Trading side of the job is to trade the electricity on New Zealand's wholesale electricty market in competition with the other four major generators in order to get the most value from the energy.

Its like playing a big computer game 24 hrs a day.

WTF you on about? An ad is an ad, don't comment if you don't like it.

I will link to the new ad once it appears tomorrow. It will read the same, just the dates will be different.

Wouldnt be too bad so long as K14 was always on the other shift.
Also seems to skip over the bit about how cold it is down there.

Add is still fine defines the job and location etc and what you would need to fill an application. And as Jantar said its an old add, so one would disregard the dates.

Perhaps I should have added:

Where the power stays on.
Where there are no traffic lights.
Where jams are made from apricots, not cages.

So it is all YOUR fault that Auckland City lost its power supply for 4.5 hours today...

You are lucky that I live out west and wasnt effected by it...

Tell you what SD, your women are safe - I can hear the theme tune to Deliverance from here. That's why we're bringing our own women when us Honda riders come down next March:nya:

Some of our women like you pretty boy North Island city types.
If one of them takes a fancy to you, you won't have any choice in the matter.

At 58, I am neither pretty nor a boy. However, I can but dream. Having met Jantar's gorgeous better half, I might have been a bit hasty in my assessment.:innocent:
