Either... bike places obviously know more as such... but any testing station should be able to do them

Depending on how err.... legal your bike is, you might just take it to your favourite bike shop :blip:

WOF is for your safety more than others' so why cheat yourself? Id rather know the truth. Take it to a trustworthy bike shop, and then go over it yourself to make sure every thing is nice and tight.

Enough maniacs out there trying to kill you - dont need to lose it because a nut came loose!

You'll have no problems anywhere I would presume...

Comes down to cost, I like saving 3 pingers, and getting the bike shop to do it for $25. VTNZ and whatnot cost $28... :doobey:

Drum: I take mine to the shop from that point of view, the legality bit is for stupid regs, that I feel much too important for... and the bike wouldn't pass wof when I bought it, but the shop sold it like that, so I like it :D

the testing station next to pitstop in new market do all the WOF's on the bmw bikes from up on the corner of carlton gore road.

they probably wof 5 or so bikes a week so they would know what they are doing.

The chief spanner man at the local servo is a biker and does my wof's, i know him and trust him, saves waiting in the que at the testing station only to find that they tell you that your mirror needs adjustment, to damm picky those pricks..............

Easy, if it's a real good checkover you want, take it to your dealer
If you just want a wof and she's pretty stock then the testing station is for you
If you got some mods and just want a wof without all the dumb shit that testing stations fail ya for then gimme a holler or go to ya local gargre or fave bikeshop.

I think the most logical place would be the bike shop, or somebody that you know. With motor bike shops you have to wait for much of the day as for taking it to the testing station you would'nt be waiting all day.
I also would go further to say that a testing station would'nt be looking at xtra cost,as of doing a job because they dont do any repair work as where the bike shop deals with parts. This was question i was asking myself wheather the testing station would except taking my bike even if it cost a few dollars more.:wait:
