If I did not have a family thing on I would have been in for sure. Shame this weekend is not next weekend as I have nothing on, and best bet would be that the weather will pack it in. Fingers crossed it is a good one then.

Cops galore on the Akaroa road today (Sat 10) Some section round the lake and shady areas in the hills are greasy so beware. Watch out nfor sunstrike on the return. That's if Akaroa is your thing. I coluld be interested in a different destination. Say a run through both gorges or just the Waimak. Just a suggestion. I was through the Rakia gorge the other weekend and there is some grit on the road so it's that time of year. Your call 200B
