Both.
I'm going to have to sit it soon. 2 hrs each night for 4 nights.
I don't imagine it will be very relevant to bike riders however.

We are subject to the same laws and conditions on the roads. The reason I ask if this is applicable to motorcyclists is that there is a 'system' in place run by the LTNZ, a Government organisation. Just curious. Let's know what you find out.

From the website:
The programme is fun and interactive. It will help you develop:
advanced driving skills
better control
the ability to make the right decisions
the ability to manage risk
an optional NZQA qualification
an insight into the full licence test
six months off for good behaviour.
6 months off of what? Are you inside at the moment Burger?

Six months off the time from the restricted to full. It cuts the 18 month wait to 12.
Total waste of time, nothing but a rotten money making scheme.
I sat it 3 years ago for my cage license. Although the road rules are the same and I have held a full cage license for 3 years I still need to resit the very same course again for my full bike license in 4 months to shorten my full license term.
They barely ever even mention the word motorcycle.

18 months!?
What did you do? Kill the pope?
I had no idea it was that long...
If you’re still alive after 6 months in Auckland traffic they should give you a medal as well as your licence!

I'd ring up the LTSA and check that. I ended up doing mine twice but was told when I went in to book my full that I had just wasted my money and the first one would cover both. I can't see it mentioned like that on the website but may be worth a check.

I was told otherwise, I'll just turn up on the booking day and see how far I can talk myself through and then see if I need to resit it.
