Iv'e posted this here so more people get to see it.
I recived an interesting email from a mate today but because I'm to thick to work out how to post it I thought I would just out line the general idea.
This is about boycotting the largest fuel supplyer in the country in an atempt to force prices down.BP is the largest supplyer and as such controls prices. If we all stop buying fuel from them they will get the idea and lower prices,as a result the other outfits will have to follow suit. The email I recived is being passed on to as many people as possible and if we all do the same thing we will be geting a message across without costing ourselfs anything. At the moment I buy most of my gas from BP as they have the closest outlet to my home,as from tomorrow I will be traveling an extra hundred yards down the road an buying from Caltex.BP had a good laugh at the one day boycott last year, lets see if they laugh at a full time one.
I'm a Shell with Fly Buys man myself not going to BP so I'm helping the cause.

Why bother with the Fuel stations, its not there fault, look at the current international trend on Fuel, we pay fuck all for it comparitively.
Now the Government is where you should be focusing your attention, they have a huge tax cut on the fuel price and make more out of a liter than the Fuel companies.
Lobby them.
Alot of stations are owned by independant mums and Dads like you and I they dont need to hear your shit either about fuel prices ,do you think they dont know ?????
Go to your MP, mass ride to government but you should leave the fuel companies outta it.
I dont work for a fuel company.
And Im extremely grumpy this weekend as my ex wife wont let me see my boy :finger:

yea i agree with quasi--remove the extra tax the buggers have put on the petrol and we'll be back to status quo.
Why the heck have we allowed the goverment to put an exzra tax on gas ?
I mean wasnt the tax soposed to pay for roads anyway??

Look at the price per barrel of crude oil.It has risen about 20% over the last few months, Petrol prices have risen at a greater rate.Every time the Parent oil company bumps the price up a few cents the mongrels in parliament slip extra tax in there. :ar15:
I'd boycott BP if their 98 did'nt already come from Mobil.Off to Shell.Or howabout Gull?

Yeah but look at what Shell are doing in Africa. Bad News. They're all crooks.
I'd like to boycott them all and make my own motor spirits but don't know how.
I'll start, as JR says, by not filling up at BP.
