Well, its WOF time today, so I've changed my rear tyre, just in case.

A victim of vast commuter kms instead of hooning kms, its down to about 1mm in the centre. Was in use until this morning. I've resisted the urge to do a burnout to see it off, as it may still be useful to somebody.

Personally, I wouldn't submit it for a warrant, as I need the bike mainly for commuting, but there's heaps of tread on the side, as you will see in the photos.

For a trackday this tyre would be great. Or maybe you desparately need something to tide you by for the next month or two.

Anyway, free to a good home. I you want it PM me and come and pick it up.

Its a Metzeler Z4, 170-60-17.

You want to be careful with that little 3 wheeler I see in the background - hXc started on one of them when he was less than 12 mths old - and we all know what he's like now, don't we....

Yeah - commuting will do that. Not too much wear on the edge at all.

FFS! You can't even give a tyre away nowadays without a few smart-arse comments ... :blah:

this tyre should last you guys a good 5,000 kms then shouldn't it?

At least I get to ride 80 kms a day. Pity I don't live in Featherston though...

if you lived closer to hamilton, i'd say swing it my way, although that tyre probably won't work on my bike.. :(
