Nice but i'd hate to see what sort of exhaust that vtwin would need to beat emissions laws. Don't see big twins going too much further with euro3 now...

What is coming out the side of the tank..not the exhaust I hope? (left side)
Waylander

Nah the exhaust is that ugly grey thing under the bike.
Interesting place for the radiator though.

Sure you could easily modify those 2 big holes at the front to fit a couple of motars which could be fired in anger at any law-breaking cager!

I like it, a few details could be changed but it's a concept bike ya ken?

Pod filter is what it is!
I would have one of those! Love the single side arms at both ends plus the outside brakes (Buell inspired as the exhaust!)
OH and intereesting location for the radiator!

I like it too. Wouldn't want to ride it for more than an hour at a time by the looks of it though. My chiropractor would just love it...

Remember who also used that position for a radiator? None other than John Britten, with great success iirc. Instead of laying across the bike, generally being the wider part, you lay the rad under the tail section, ducting air through the bike and onto the radiator. I think John purchased the rights for it from someone, not sure why it isn't widely used (surely someone here can point out why). The add-on effect is you can design the fairing as wide as the engine and chassis, not the rad.

Well, how can you tell without some specifications?
It's a V twin. That's all I can tell .
Seriously what is with the faggotty influence that seems to have crept into biking these days, where all people seem to care about is what a bike LOOKS like. How does it GO . That's what matters. Leave the what it looks like stuff to Maurice, and his mates who ponce up and down Queen St.
Surely only a pouf would judge a bike on what it looks like? Yet every time a new bike is discussed , all the discussion seems to be around looks. Will it go with my new toothpaste suit? Does it complement my new handbag? Will I need to get my hair restyled to go with it?
Give me horsepower. Fork trail. Weight. Seat angles. Gear ratios. Torque curves. That sort of stuff is all I care about. Who (except Maurice and Co) cares what the plastic shit looks like?
FFS , we're supposed to be bikers. Not hairdressers.

Hell I'd go even further than that Ixion mate! The only thing that really matters... is it fun to ride? So it looks very trendy, but wot's go like guvna?

What is happening with you lately Ixion? Over the past few days you've turned into a monster. And the profanities, my word. Tell Uncle Finn all about it.

Yeah thats was the first thing I thought, looks alot like the MGS-01
Huh? You guys are like you've never seen it before? Its at least a couple of years old and was built by some guys at American Honda. The motor is a pretty standard VTR1000 Firestorm. Think it was 2004 when it was first displayed, WSBK at Laguna?

Is that the mock up idea that they had late last year/early this year for the VTR replacement I'm thinking. I like it (but then again I like the MT-01 to).

Well there must be a shit load of poofs here then by the amount of slagging the new boulevard cruisers get,and you can,t tell me they,ve all ridden them.

This must be a PT. Passion is what bikes are about mate. Some talk about looks some talk about abilities, most I think care a great deal about both.

Interesting place for the radiator though.
Copying the Britten I think.
I kinda like it except for the exhaust set up. The single sided front end would be a bit of a worry too and that front disk looks like they borrowed it off the space shuttle.
On second thought....... it sucks!

I saw one of these in the Honda tent at the MotoGp at Philip Island last year. I am not a Honda fan but this was a pretty cool looking bike !!!!!

brake disks look like they stole them from buell. IMO that bike would appeal greatly to americas 'boy racer' motorcycling crowd, and trust me there are a lot of them.... 4inch swingarm extensions anyone?
was gonna say tis a repost but someone else bet me too it.

It looks sexy, ...apart from the silver pipe coming out of the bottom. I guess it just scrapes along the ground to slow it down enough to give suzooki riders a chance to keep up.....:blip:

Maurice was recently seen leaving Cyclespot in Takapuna having placed a deposit on Honda's upcoming replacement for the VTR1000 Firestorm.
Apparently it looks "simply delightful" and the colour and style will offset his latest Stella McCartney 2 piece with a dash of added panache.
It even has a radiator under the tail to soothe anal bruising after a hard night in Spooge bar on Ponsonby Rd.

I think it looks alright. I like the single sided swing arm... and the sharp features... but personally not my style of bike... unless it handled like an angel or something i wouldn't buy it...

hmmm the exhaust that goes straight onto the rear wheel. Does anyone else see A problem with exhaust heat and oil and shit for a honda engine blowing onto your back wheel hmm??
Like some of the features though.
