The missus and I are heading into town tonight to watch the rugby and are thinking that we drive (in the car) in and then get dial a driver back home after we have had a few to many .
Ive done a quick search but cant find any other threads about this.
Anyone know how the price/service compares to a taxi and can reccomend any companies?
Thanks
Eyetie

A bit more expensive than a normal taxi(sorry not sure how much), but you need really to book in a time as they are pretty busy on the weekend as from past experience waiting for 2 hrs for one..., try AKL Dial a Driver 828-5073.

They are dearer than a cab one way, but cheaper than than getting two cabs.
A LOT cheaper than an EBA charge.

The one and only time i tried to use a dial a driver (not sure which one), the guy and his missus that turned up looked like they'd been on a 4 day P bender and were driving some beat up 1980's mitsubishi.
I politely turned down his offer which was quite difficult as I thought he was going to
smash you bro and went and drank some more while planning another way home.
I hope they're all not like this.......
