Keep your spirits in the Freezer. It won't freeze (in your domestice freezer) and no need to add ice. The spirit thickens up a little and almost tastes sweeter.

C'mon dude. I like my bourbon over ice too but hell ... at least you only ran out of ice. How would you feel if you had a freezer full of ice and had run out of bourbon .... ?

Hmm. All this talk has reminded me that I have a half bottle of Jim Beam Black Label in the liquor cabinet that I just may need to do a quality check on later.
