Hayden World Champ by attrition.
I love Rossi as much as the next motamacycle fanatic but to say Haydens won teh title by attritions a tad harsh.. u mean hes won teh title by consistantly finishing and consistantly get podium finish's

Totaly opposite to how I feel about these things - I rate a rider,or driver, who wins a championship without winning a race,by consistantly putting himself on the podium every race,or as much as he can.As opposed to some flash in the pan crash artist who manages to string enough wins amid the mistakes. But when all the opposition is taken away by breakdowns or crashes it a bit hollow.I rate Hayden very highly (just because he's a flattracker y'know) and of all the riders on the grid,he's the one I want to come 2nd.....or with luck WIN!

Good to see Nakano getting somewhere. He needs some good news:
Black flagged at Catalunya. Ride through penalty before that... poor fella.
As for Rossi:
Big off in the morning.
A visit to the hospital before lunch confirms hairline cracks to wrist and ankle.
He's back on the bike in the afternoon to put in some fast laps.
That's why he rocks.
Of course if it was me...
I'd be crying for my mummy...

Crash was on TV3, didn't see how he lost it going into a left hander but he certainly did tumble around like a rag doll.
He needs to get lessons from Sete on how to crash properly. Now there is a man who knows what he is doing, watch last weeks race and you'll see him instinctively tuck in, reducing harm to himself. Sadly it didn't stop him from doing harm to Capirossi and Melandri, but he did have to up his crash technique. And once again hats off to him, first lap, not even the first corner and he takes not only himself out in spectacular fashion but a number of other riders.
A true professional.

Just noticed Capirossi and Melandri are back, but no Sete. Have the other riders taken a vote?

You see, last year Rossi was about a million points ahead of everybody else - made for some boring watching (trying to guess who would come second to Rossi). So the MotoGP people asked him to give the rest of the riders a fighting chance this year. Such a gentleman that Rossi ~ but he's going to clean up in the next 9 races, no doubt.
