Hi all, just joined the site today so thought I'd say hi. Awesome site, I love how informative everyone is here, should have joined ages ago!

Been riding my lil gsx250 for about a year and a half now, and I'm 3 months off getting my full licence so starting to look around for a 600cc-ish bike, and will be selling mine of course. One question - in the bikes for sale section, is there any way of telling if they've been sold or not? Some nice bikes but the post dates are sometime in 2005... if they are there does it mean they are still for sale?

Cheers guys, look foward to asking you all lots of stupid newbie questions :D

Welcome to the site...

You can tell if they have been sold by checking the sellers profile, but it can be worth asking just in case the havnt updated it, dont worry bout the newbie questions, my first post was asking someone if there rg150 was still for sale, it had sold years ago

Hi there mate, welcome and good luck on the new bike search.
Not that I'm going to be of any help in finding something for you, just nosey, what kinda bike are you looking at moving up to?
Anyway, look forward to seeing you out on the roads (once the weather improves maybe).
Ride safe and have fun!:scooter:

Welcome! Be careful where you put your feet. Like most of us, you'll probably wind up with "foot in mouth" syndrome at some time, but don't worry, we'll all be laughing at you, not... oh, hang on... yeah, that's right!
