Got your reply in the other thread. Mate, what a pain. Least you got it home alright.

Not good getting a hole in the rad at 600kms. :(

Can you get rad covers for those things. Seems a little vulnerable aye.

Albany Radiators specialise in alloy radiators, seeing as it's so new it may be a repairable proposition.

Sorry if this sounds like the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff, but I reckon you can't go past the " Radguard", a bloke in Aussie makes them. About AUD$195.00 from memory. I've had them on my last 3 gixxers, and they keep the radiator looking brand new. Bummer about your misfortune

Bahahaha, shit thats funny man!

I brought some special weld for mine, death still has it, get it off and give it too me or death and we'll fix it up aight, gimmie some coin and i'll make ya a guard as well, i'm about to get some mesh for mine and the sheet of mesh is enough to make two guards out of! Cant remeber how much but it'd be less than $20 easy. No point spending over $100 buck on one when this one does the same job and looks the same!

Go to supercrap auto, or repco and buy that grill mesh that boy racers like to put on their cars. All you have to do is cut it to fit and cable tie it on. Cost about $30 and works a charm.

I would just pop in hardware or garden or other and just make up your own out of plastic cover fine, and set it bigger distance away from core.

Personally if our boy Rayza learnt to ride then it wouldn't be a problem.

Damn squidly didly...

Thats all good but the mesh like the racepro stuff is not really fine enough and stuff still gets through, i goto places like Ullrich Allu they have sheets big enough for two guards and in varying fineness (whats the word i want?) plus its way cheaper coz it aint got the brand name on it.

funny gits you 2 eh??

But then again, you're both jealous, one owns a sooki that dies faster than a kawasaki that has done 100 times the distance and is 10 years newer (fact) and the other wonders why his bike has problems after he rode it INTO a roundabout :zzzz:

Dream on, or buy a good kwaka :nya:

edit: OHHHHHH, who bought gold levers for a bike.... people in glasshouses should never throw stones...

As if you're an expert on good bikes... anything in your hands gets screwed as you ride it away... just the dover effect.

iirc, you were single handedly responsible for causing a shortage of gixxers...

:zzzz: yes, only died once, I can fix problems on my bike (see comment about kawasaki being good). Only down to the one problem now.

Couple of steps left, then she will be good

I think, fatman, you'll find that was the chinks and their voracious appetite for titanium sex toys.

I have written off one you fat prick. Haven't you binned that shit heap whale of yours, when it was running of course? But at the speed you ride it's hardly going to sustain much damage!

heheheheh, nope, them corners things, I can line em up, and go AROUND them... you know?? The fun thing and more comfortable than bushes I would imagine... then again, you tell me :blah:

I only binned my learner bike twice, you've crashed at least 3 bikes, in various states and ways :killingme Your last was brave enough to not die on you, and has come back for more

And if I remember, you're about the same size as me, maybe a touch smaller, but thats about it :nya:

edit: weasel.... I guess that makes 2 problems :weep:

The_Dover
28th June 2006, 13:54
Maybe a half inch shorter but you are the ZX7R to my GSXR1000K6. Watch out for those japs.

I have crashed 2 bikes asshole. Neither of them learners and only one on a corner. How's about you learn the details rather than going on hearsay you fat saffer dipshit?

I know you can line up those corners and go around them. I spent about 20 of the most painful and slow kilometres of my life following you around them on the upright whale. Fuck, it was so slow even boomer got bored.

No wonder you love leading the learners about so much, not too taxing a pace for you eh? Must be a bit embarassing when the girls on GN250 smoke you though!!

I have crashed 2 bikes asshole.
You trying to re-define a crash?? Does it make the insurance history look better?? :zzzz:

One into a car (a crash is a crash, doesn't matter if it was your fault or not), a case of "sunstrike", and then you slid the other one on its side...

Does your definition of crash mean "only when written off" maybe?? :nya: Maybe you count like so: 1 .... 1.5 .... 2 ....

And if it was soooo bad following me... you say that jxier thing (how is it this week?) is soo fast, maybe you should have overtaken me? Or perhaps I was helping you to not crash.

On the other hand you could have been envious of the 7, or perhaps I should be worried that you WANT to follow me

So yeah, the racepro mesh can be a little coarse. Fully recommend the aluminum expanded (expander) mesh that you can buy from the likes of Ullrich or Mico Wakefield. Bit of spray paint, bit of cable tyin, looks mint in no time!

Nothing wrong with the ZX7R if you like old bikes. They're pretty heavy compared to a modern bike though.
