I hate '80's music,it sucks big time - and I've been stuck on this site since you posted it....

Growing up with '60's and '70's rock - the originators of metal like Deep Purple,Led Zep,real guitar hero's,glam rock,pop,bubble gum,country cross overs,jazz cross overs - we just had a melting pot oozing through our heads.

Then came the '80's...aaaagh! Insipid dreary ballads like ''Africa'',hundreds of them all the same,dance music,beats all the same...the ''rim shot'' was discovered.''Metal'' appeared,bands just a parody of those they copied....Alice Cooper parodied them,but at least he started it all! I hated music in the '80's......but I never had a TV throughout the '80's,I was very ''anti'' then.

But it's good to go back....and admit you were wrong:gob: I have a triple Eurythmics CD - I can't believe every song is imprinted on my brain,I know them all....I have discovered Falco....um,I guess the '80's were pretty rich after all.
