Okey dokey,

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to HDTboy again.

Why would you want a undertail exhaust??? Stubbies look way better...

What can I say, I'm just a fan of the undertail exhausts, tidys up the rear of the bike in my mind... just wondered if it can be done, and how much?

yip you buy a kwak, a duc or a ktm easy done prob get a better looking bike to start with as well.

You would have issues with routing heating the suspension and the plastic et al

Why would you wanna do that Gerbal? Get an aftermarket pipe like Dovers to get rid of that oversized didgeridoo and enjoy the uncluttered lines of the rear.

Karma

Yeh that could be an idea also... gotta buy the bike in the first place before I worry too much about mods...

The most common GSXR mod would conflict with that one, ie finding some bushes and throwing it into them.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO CARRY A WEIGHT PENALTY AND A PERFORMANCE DISADVANTAGE, I GOT IT FROM A VERY GOOD SOURCE THAT THE 06 ZX 10 GAINS 6 HP WITH AN 05 STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM BUTCHERED ON , THE 05 SYSTEM ALSO WEIGHS LESS

those hot body underseat exhust, ad extra weight, make you lose power, and also end up cooking your rear shock.
and well not good over all.

Best bet, is make a stubby exhust for it

moving the exhaust up and under the tail will move all that weight up high and to the rear of the bike, affecting the way your COG is situated..

keeping it central though, help with the flicky flicky through the corners, and a nice cf can dont weigh much, but yes it would

I like the way the new duke does it

Forget the pipe mod mate, first you'll need a pretty heavy duty rear shock to handle your weight first. :nya:

Well I was thinking about getting a rear axle offa one of those stagecoach buses, that should do it you think?

Stage coach will be sweet when you can find a festively plump missus for the back, in the mean time try one off a Toyota Coaster mini bus that should hold ya :niceone:
