Picked up the new ride today. A nice K6 GSXR. Blue and white this time though. (Didn't like the red/black one anyway), and I can tell y'all its damn good to be back on a bike again. I cannot believe how many times I have spanked my monkey over the past 3 1/2 weeks. Damn near burst a blue vein I did. Anyway, big thanks to:
Lumley for paying up.
Lumley again for actually insuring me, again
Welly MCs for sorting out the bike and not letting any other cunt buy it while I ws fucking around with insurance forms.
Mrs Jimbo600 for putting up with my bleeting. (And self gratification V8 noises)
Mr Steinlager for a beautiful brew!

Well done on getting the replacement wheels.
Classic blue and white is good. A powder blue motogp race replica paintjob would be nice but wouldn't suit your new riding style and would clash with Deano's bike.

Hello mate. Yeah the red one didn't last long aye. At least I can say that I am the first person in NZ to write off a K6 600. Blue/white is a much better colour anyway.

He popped round my place yesterday to give me a look see at the new bike... looks mint with that new glittered paint scheme, nice colour to the wheels, and a flash of Crescent Suzuki blue in it. Apart from the Euro bikes, that there is a pretty smart thing.

Yeah been seeing that. No issues with the either of the K6s I've had. They can be a bit choppy at very low revs but I believe this is more to do with the slipper clutch coming in and out. Apart from that no FI light issues. Must be an Ameracano thing.

11th August 2006, 09:34
yeah could be the american model per say,
have ya got the tre on that might fix the low revs never know?

Check out this website regarding running in an engine:
http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
This is how we run in aircraft piston engines, mineral oil and run it HARD and change the oil in the first 20 odd kms.
