I need to change the chain of my ZZR 250…what sorta chain should I get and from where….any advice would be appreciated

you can have the one Ive got at home if it fits--for a zxr400

Found this site for ya, might be what you're after... that only has the '90-'92 in there but it might still be valid.

Just go into any bike shop and ask for a 108 link 520 chain.
They will ask you "What type of chain do you want". Depending on how much money you want to spend you can just go for the cheap chains or the more expensive o-ring types ($130).

Chains usually come is one length as well (120 link?) so you will have to ask the shop to chop it to the required length unless you have a grinder and want to do it yourself.

When I bought a DID chain for my VFR you bought it in a box the correct length, in my case 112 links, so I presume you can buy yours like that too, though a shop may be able to cut you a length off a long roll of the stuff too.

Thanks guys…..i think I will go down to Red baron to get a new o-ring one…but im keen to give XJ’s one a try first…hey XJ can I come down sometimes ?...

I prefer to use tsubaki chain -I used to sell the stuff and it inspires confidence in me
