good shit mark!!
They are the best bucket bikes that money can buy IMO....!!
now if you want power-
Go get a honda XR250 carb (with jet kit) and a YZF250 muffler.
- and -
When i get my bike back (at a mates house) ill draw the diagram to make a race loom. Saves 2 kilos of uneccessary weight.
aaaand then, remove all the electric starter gear.
Step one: take off the left hand engine cover.
Step two: unbolt starter motor
Step three: when the starter motor comes out, the gears will fall off. remove all the starter gears.
Step four: the hole in your engine gets plugged by a plastic coke bottle lid and some petroleum resistant silcon or the likes.
few Kgs there.
and when i get around to it, the foot pegs need to be raised as they drag something shocking!!..
oh and i have some bridgestone slicks that will fit if you want emm for the right $$$ ?? cheap though...
any questions, just ask ;)
- oh and flip the handle bars under the tripple clamps ;)

a man in the know i see thanks for that much appreciated.... yes i was definately going to strip down the loom....
ddn't think about the started motor so yup that will be gone
i'm also going to probably trim off the wail of the frame just enough for a seat to fit on and leave the cowling hanging.... with some little brackets or leave it off all together to save weight...i'm tempted to ditch the airbox also.
and yep may be keen for those tyres ill pm ya

lol..... funny you metion the rear end...
I did that. I cut as much as possible off the subframe, so that there was just a perch for the seat to sit on and the rest just used cable ties..
all good and well untill i crashed it and it slid backwards into the tyres at 60kph...... grrrrr
now i am missing half of my rear end!! lol... good times...

I haven't once touched the pegs down (cept when I fell off) the muffler on the other hand will get biffed and replaced with something better and with more ground clearance
- oh and flip the handle bars under the tripple clamps ;)
Why? I can't see any advantage to doing that, especially if you're racing kart track/ car parks

I didn't like the feel of the front with my hands up high.
Dunno what it is but i get more feel from the front end with them lower. (and you are in a more race crouch position)
Muffler - i havnt got the stock one on. I have a YZF250 muffler. (works bloody well and sounds cool)

I agree it didnt feel nice with them up high when I rode it but with them lower you can hang off and pin it and still be down low on the bike feels cool new rear sets you made are cool
As for muffler when I saw bike yesterday I think I saw a straight pipe is that to compinsate for the loss of power suzuki has over honda you have to make the bike sound ear pearcing:nya:
