Test day at Manfield on the 4th of June

After the dissapointment of the open day being cancelled, a very clever Deano has proposed we descend on the test day next Friday.

Cost is $80 for the whole dy and as much track time as you can shake a stick at.

I will be in attendance as will the mighty SP1 mounted Deano.

Any other takers?

Ride up meeting at Shell Mana at 8am. If it's raining in Wellington I will still go as it's allways different up there.

Someone really should get a camera too.

Yeehaa, with a bit of luck Jimbo will be able to attend also.

Cycosis has a camera with back pack and small lens for mounting pretty much anywhere......should get some nice shots.

I reckon we need about a dozen of us to make for a truly awesome day.

Frosty, I have my Yamahahahah SRX600RR SPS that can be raced in F3. I think ol' Mithchy-Pooh might just be a little quicker than the Trash man though :sneaky2:

The weather is supposed to turn to crap up here (Palmy) for friday but I'm to get over and meet up with some of you guys.......It'll be fun to get the old one out and stretch her legs...even in the wet !! So I'll be there..just as a spectator though, not up going round the track just yet !! :whistle: and if I can find the stick for my camera I'll bring that too !!

I will be making the decision on Friday morning after ringing Mobil Feilding for a weather update. The forecast so far is not hopeful.

If its pissing down I won't bother. Ive got the day off anyway, so if its crap up that way and fine down here I will just go for a tiki tour down here.

I just stumbled across this site today, good to see riders getting together.

I went to the last test day at Manfeild, my first time, and for 3 out of 4 sessions i was the only bike on the track! good for learning. Was a wikid day!

On the way home an old lady decided not to give way and i t-boned her at 50kph, just found out today my new to me 2002 GSXR will be written off! Grrrr!

Anyway i will keep an eye on this forum for anymore test day get togethers, hopefully the next one has better weather!

Went over for a look this morning before the weather really packed in. Was just a few cages and an open wheeller. Deffinitly no bikes in sight ... even I drove over!
