I wouldnt mind knowing if you could get something similar in NZ, anyone know? Also would you own one? The draw card for me is the unique style and the fact that you could scare the hell out of little old ladies and small children.

I'de go with 2 or 7.
Anyone that does airbrushing can do it mate. There was a guy in Hamilton on this site that has done a few helmets already.

Id go with number 2 for coolness :blip:

And 3 for the fact that someone would soil themselves if they saw that looking back at them through their side mirror.

They are Simpson helmets. Have been air brushed. Look great!!
No one brings them into NZ though. You can order them through the net, but keep in mind that you cant get visors or parts for them here either.

I've got a mate that can airbrush helmets, he does 'em for a number of our top car drivers etc.....the stuff he does will make your eyes fall out. That stuff would be a peice of cake to him.
But be prepared to pay the price, far from cheap and there's about a 3-6 month waiting list at any time.....

Wouldn't it cut your peripheral vision a bit?

I like the Stormtrooper one myself. The problem with some of the others is that Buffy is old enough to drive cages now.... You might also have problems wearing them as they could be deemed to cause motorists distraction. Imagine if someone canned it because they got such a fright and wasn't watching where they were going.. and they are just as finger pointing as personalised number plates. So cool though. A Predator version would look great with long haired riders.

Predator helmet, dreadlocks, black leather jacket, metal gloves and a Supercharged V-rod  :gob:

Just wondering, what's a rough price range for doing a helmet?? Say a price for a fairly simple tribal design and a price for a hellishly complicated, fantasy art type job.

Aren't Simpsons mainly intended for drag racing and are illegal on bikes??

I started a thread on this not long ago. There's a motorcycle version called the 'Outlaw', looks just like the 'Bandit'.

hi mental trousers, a simple trible on a helmet woul be anything from $350 upwards, and a full blown fantasy would probably start from around $1500, it would depend on what you wanted, and how much you want to spend, i can work into your budget, seriuosly guys, those pics on my site don;t show the true detail in my work, they donnot look like they have been done with an airbrush, there is some exstremly fine detail in some of those peices, a helmet could easily get up to the five ,ten grand mark, depending on the idea and how real you want it. i can literaly do anything you dare to imagine,

I can't afford my imagination but if I could I'd go for the good ol' brain matter. That would suit me................either that or a portrait of my face and head along with hair style.

Out of my legue i going to stick with simple black paint.

I reckon I'd look fierce in one of those stormtrooper helmets on my scooter. :scooter:

Especially if worn with one of these raincoats! http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=31864

IMDIYING - SKYRIDER ,first imdying, since a stormtropper helmet would be a copy and not an origanal, it would be cheaper, i would do a stormtropper helmet for $1000, cleared, skyrider i would paint your brain on a helmet for around $1200,

Now if I could convince some others (stunters?) into some Craft helmets, that'd be a well priced canvas :D
