VNC is a wonderful thing :)

We set the bios of one of the computers at uni to turn on remotely as thats where we all store our music etc as the given storage is poo's so now can switch it on remotely as it aint really accessible to us!

Muchos grasias erik.

I'll leave my connection open as long as I can, but I've killed 80% of my 40GB bitcap in less than a week. I wasn't even trying.

Got to hand it to the new connection. Makes watching the Races (and filler) on MotoGP.com a pleasure. Highest stream, no skipping or pausing to rebuffer, and all this while still leeching other things.

Ended up watching from the start of the 250cc all through including the inbetween bits which I didn't even know existed.

Watching the practices is great. You get some amazing shots they just don't bother with during the races. Gives me a whole new appreciation of just what these guys are doing on these incredible machines. Not to mention gives a better feel of the whole experience, rather than just the races.

Now if only I could find a work around for their nasty proprietary streaming.

Hopefully oneday they'll get with the program and we'll be able to buy the whole season in full, with extras (practices, quals, interviews through the season) in high def.

I'd truely pay a few hundred for the pleasure of being able to relive seasons in high def glory. *pictures the races being shown on a projector with quality stereo*.

/end ramble

slight side note: Anyone have the early races (first three) from the season?

Do you mean 220kb/sec or 220kB/sec... Damn I need faster upload speed, as soon as my upload goes over 13kB/sec my download starts to slow down...

should work now. anyone else wants to help seed, if you haven't still got the torrent, just download it again and save it to the same location the original video is at, it should check it and start seeding.

there needs to be a computer tracking the torrent so other computers know who to connect to (except with decentralised tracking, but I don't know how that works...). When I create a torrent, my computer also hosts (or tracks) the torrent. I'd stopped tracking it so I guess that's why it wasn't working.

ahh, that would explain it =) Which would explain why Catalunya and mugello dont have any seeds at all, and the others (donnington, assen, shanghai, le mans) do (which is currently me? if I read Azureus right).

hmm, I'm not sure. the only torrent I'm still tracking is donnington. The tracker status column for donnington should say "OK". The other ones should have some sort of error message.
The difference in seeds between catalunya and mugello vs the others might be due to the first two being queued and maybe the others are forced seeding? Or you might just have azureus set up to allow quite a lot of active torrents.

Anyway, it works.
