Just watched a nice piece on Campbell Live about the Kim Newcombe documentary. Yeah, I know it's old news but it's apparently just screened in Berlin and his son was there when it did. He also rode a lap of honour in memory of his dad.

I haven't seen the film yet but I really want to. Apparently it will be on TV later this year, hope it comes out on DVD soon after too. Sad to realise his wife died earlier this year of cancer. She did a fantastic job documenting his life for all of us to see.

What is it with NewZealanders, bikes and the want to go faster and beat the rest of the world???

Saw this- bloody awesome to see it on a prime-time news program like Campbell Live. Well done TV3! Big thanks to Dangerous for the "TV3 now!" text, I was just texting back "Benadryl cough medicine- fascinating!", when it came on. MrsB and I really regret not going to see the movie when it was on.

Yes, same question. What is the name of the movie? If there's any chance it's available, I'll get my brother to pick it up for me. Kim Newcombe was one of the good ones, for sure.
Cheers
Barry
