It might have something to do with trusting people, though it is pretty obvious that trust is a liability that one can't actually afford.

The only bad habit from the other forums is trying to overcome the urge to ask people to take their kit off......

The above Link will log you out. Menace is just being a time wasting ass hole. Menace, You are lucky that I was able to remember my password. If this had been a link that damaged me computor, (I would have been coming to find you):bash:

Settle RIB - the above link only cleared your cookies.....hardly anything harmful - infact any routine maintenance to your computer will do exactly the same thing.

PS - try right clicking on links before you click on them if you are suspicious - this will tell you what they do

Basically a LONG time ago i had a party and at the time i was living in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Anyway as the party progressed into the early hours of the morning. I get a ring on the door open it and see the neighbourhood contingent of old farts (no offence to old ppl on this site.. )

Anyway they started going off @ me by saying i was such a menace to the neighbourhood/soicety/the country even...

Although im not quite sure the party was the whole cause of their vent but meh. I dont think we were that lowd as we had no complaints from the noise control or whatever... meh...

I couldnt beleive it but prety much the reacuring theme was i was just a menace :o so this was just around when I jsut started joining forum boards.. And yeah just used menace nick from then on, on prety much evry forum i sgin up....

AND thats the story of the nickname.... :)

Maybe you need to watch what happens when you log out of this site normally - one of the things is states is "all cookies cleared"
It's no big deal.

Oh yes there was. I am sure the XJ was just teasing you back.

PS: I would have rated this thread just the some even if you had been SpankMe. I have enough problems with TeleCum and this Old piece of junk (it's like trying to race an old 80's GN250 against more modern RGV250's:doh: ) disconnecting me in the middle of posting, without smart asses tricking me into logging out as well:brick: .

I don't log out when I leave this site so that when I revisit I don't have to log back on (one less password I have to remember) :P I'm well aware what it does , thank you. Lost my password back when I first joined and was unable to particate (or ask questions) in this site for a while because of it. So to me this little joke is not so funny.

RIB you appear to have some serious issues - talk about mountains out of mole hills - one more example of how easy you are to wind up.

It was a joke! No one got hurt! It didn't delete your harddrive!

Me thinks you have been kicked one too many times in the head by the equines you are so keen to stand beside - chill out.....you are wayyyy to tense about everything. Are you short by chance?

I wish I was short, then the horses would miss my head when they kicked:laugh: It would be easier on my back when shoeing horses too:2thumbsup

Maybe it was funny to more technically minded.
But keep in mind some are less computer literate than a 4 yr old.

In the past I have unknowingly followed links that deleted my root directory..... and left a trojan that repeated the crime every day at 8pm.

Also I have had another person who had access to my work computer follow a link that changed my home page to Razorsearch.com not for the fainhearted. and every link has trojans such as, diallers, restriction removers, jpg file sharing etc..... Tried it from home on a computer that I already intended to format the hard drive on... If it were not already a disease ridden old cow it sure would have been.

A bit like std's really. They only catch the unwary, the uneducated and Everyone elsewho participates.

Using the std analagy I might have caught syphilis of razor but i gave themn aids. they were off line for about a month with just an error page saying it was off line for "routine maintenance".

Razorsearch.com
I have not typed this as a link because although there is some really good porn, and some rally sick sh%$ you will get a virus.

Bit like banging a porn star.

Good to look at but your gonna get a disease if your protection is not up to it.
