Got an old XL100 as a do up, just a run about for anyone wanting to lean to ride, didn,t want them to crash the DRZ, since they cost so bloody much, it's a pretty sad looking bike, but good old HONDA reliability the bikes been sitting in the back of the shed since i brought it, 2 to 3 kicks away she goes,

Suzooks are discriminating bikes.
They're just showing their disapproval at having to share a garge with a Honda.

This sounds like the response of a suzuki owner eh? Can't yet say that I've had a problem with the DRZ (yet), but by the sounds of it, it could just merely be a matter of time. There are 8 bikes in the garage and out of that are 3 HONDA. I know for a fact that I can jump on any of the 3 HONDA and they will allways start up. There are also 4 suzuki & one yamaha, possibly soon a kawasaki (which we all know are only green suzukis anyhow). I allways have my fingers crossed when starting those others up, but so far they have not let me down either...:scooter:

i had trouble with my 86 starting....but only at midnight when it was cold. and after a while she would always start and get me home. dispite that i was gutted when we got hit by a car. now my 05 is as reliable as can be....and id be happy on her for the rest of my life! [tis just the stealership thats not reliable.]

My old CBR couldn't handle crashes and it often didn't start up

As for my RG, starts every 10th kick/2nd push start and after crashing into a ditch the only significant damage was the footpeg being ripped off

F**ken thing wouldn't start, got to the point where if I had a match i would have burned the f**ker,

My Dog Rooter 350 doesnt see much use anymore - every few months I give it a run. As long as I drain the carb first, always starts second kick... had a Yamaha XT before that, and no matter what I did, twas a bitch to start.

f**ken Yamahas

I assume both Suzuki dirt bikes require to be kick started? Maybe its an operator problem, and you ain't got the strength to kick over a descent dirt bike.......

Fuck me wonding if i've done the right thing buying a suzuki,1st one and maybe my last, normally ride honda.
When i brought this bike new i had trouble starting, so when my 1st warranty check, so told them about it being hard to start and they did some adjustments.
So a few weeks down the line its even harder to start they had told me to use little choke for 30 seconds once started.
With it being hard wired for the lights it dos'nt take long to run the battery.:blah:

Take it from someone that has to start up all makes an models everyday of the week, sooner or later they can all give a problem starting and theres no one brand thats any worse then the other. They just always seem to wanna be bitches when a potential buyer wants to hear them running.

Must regard them as a threat out there on the open road. Or the fact that they dont break down every 1000's kays and need new desmo-drongo belts or whatever replaced frequently means they cant make any money off them
